4 Days Islands and Sierra Guided tour

There are very few places on earth where the desert meets the sea. You can enjoy an exciting adventure through the desert along the turquoise sea and be enchanted by amazingly starry nights. Baja California Sur is a unique place for such an adventure. An expert guide will accompany you on your off-road adventure across the multi-colored desert to magnificent white beaches, visiting an old Mission and seeing several Oases in Sierra Guadalupe.

Tour Program – 4 Day Island and Sierra

Day 1

Leaving La Paz in the morning, we’ll explore the Southern part of the Sierra Guadalupe, passing through beautiful valleys with multi-coloured granite formations. Then continuing on to a magnificent white beach where there will be time to go snorkelling and enjoy many colourful tropical fish, later relaxing in our first night’s camp.

Day 2

We will reach a small fishing village and we will go out by boat to visit the surrounding islands, admiring the uncontaminated habitat. We will have lunch on a beautiful beach, and we will have several opportunities to snorkel in the crystal-clear sea that surrounds them. In the evening, we will return to the camp.

Day 3

In the morning, we’ll return to the Sierra and follow a beautiful mountain path, getting glimpses of the San Jose island. As we continue up into the mountains, we’ll arrive at an abandoned mission built in 1721. The mission has a surprisingly green oasis, filled with fresh spring water and old palm trees. Our third night will be in the Sierra Guadalupe along a river.

Day 4

On the fourth day, we’ll return to La Paz skirting the Pacific beaches that are inhabited only by wildlife and a few fishing camps. There will be several stops along the way to go wading in the cool waters of the Pacific Ocean. We will wind our way along ancient paths through the desert cactus forests, arriving back to La Paz in the late afternoon.
