Welcome to the Airport
On the first day, after arriving at the airport, you will meet our staff who will help you with the procedures for the collection of your car(s) and who will accompany you to your hotel. You will have the day to explore the beautiful beaches of Baja California, some of these recognized among the most beautiful in Mexico, which have become iconic for their crystal-clear waters and white sand.
Espritu Santu Island
You will visit the beautiful island of Espíritu Santo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will see for the first time the sea that Jacques Cousteau defined as the aquarium of the world. You will visit different points of this natural park, such as the permanent colony of frigates and the colony of sea lions that live full-time in the waters of the island.
A light fish-based lunch will be served on the beautiful beach of the island. The return is scheduled in the afternoon. Along the way, you can spot dolphins or killer whales that often follow boats.
Baja California and its marine parks
To recognize and enhance the ecological, environmental, and landscape wealth of Baja California and its gulf, the government of Mexico has established, since 1995, several national parks along the eastern side of the peninsula.
The Friendly Gray Whales
From early January, coming from Alaska, gray whales arrive in Baja California to give birth and nurse their calves. As soon as they are born, they already have remarkable dimensions of five/six meters long. After the first month, the calves are more open to life and it is possible, in some areas, to approach them with the boat and live the incredible emotion of coming into contact with these wonderful creatures. It will be a must to live this experience.
The Majestic Blue Whale
The blue whale is the largest animal in the world, it can be over 30 feet long. From January to March it frequents the Sea of Cortez and, although the sighting is not guaranteed, the chances are very high. It is a unique encounter, only possible in a few places in the world.
